The Alfalfa County Board of Commissioners met Monday morning in regular meeting. They approved a 14-day extension on the county-wide burn ban, among other actions. All commissioners were present, as well as Nancy Lambert, Laneta Unruh, Kyle Spade of the Cherokee Messenger-Republican, Shana Smallwood-Buchanan of Encompass Financial Services, Stephanie Lambert of the Newsgram, and this reporter. After the call to order, Nancy Lambert gave the invocation, then the flag was saluted.
