Rector presents `Career Cruising' program to South Barber School Board

South Barber Guidance Counselor Tim Rector apprises the Board of Education about the "Career Cruising" program they've implemented at the junior/senior high school. He described it as a planning timeline to help students seek their future career.

All members attended the South Barber Board of Education December meeting Monday night including Board President Steven Allen, Mariah Doherty, Deb Helfrich, Melissa Simpson, Mark Pollock and Mike Miller. Superintendent Dr. Andi Williams and Board Clerk Julie Johnson also sat at the board table

Bryan Quick, who was elected in the November election as a write-in candidate, watched from the crowd section and will take his place at the board table in January. Quick previously served on the school board and was president several years.
