Goldbugs top Tonkawa 59-43

The Alva Goldbugs defeated Tonkawa 59-43 Tuesday night on the road. The Goldbugs are now 5-1 on the season while Tonkawa drops to 2-6.
Alva moved out in front 18-7 in the first quarter but allowed Tonkawa to catch up to within six points by the half 26-20. The Goldbugs picked up the pace in the third to lead by ten at 42-32 and increased the gap by the end of the game. It was a fast-paced contest with a lot of turnovers for both teams.
