Woods County PEO chapters celebrate their Founders' Day

Judy Ferguson, Joann Urban, Nadine Hayes, Cindy Hull and Nancy Blankinship are members of the Waynoka PEO Chapter R. The aprons the women are wearing commemorate the chapter's 100th Anniversary Celebration of 2011. These women can be seen wearing these aprons during other events that are held in the Waynoka area.

Several members of chapters C, AL and ET of Alva traveled to Waynoka to meet with Chapter R members at the United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Chapter R of Waynoka hosted the salad luncheon event on Nov. 4.

Members were welcomed by Judy Ferguson of the Waynoka Host Chapter R.

Chapter R members were complimented and appreciated for having served delicious salads that included many varieties of meat, vegetable and fruit, along with dessert salads, too.

Lizabeth Richey, member of Chapter C, presented a program appropriate for the special occasion: "The Year of Our PEO Founding." Riche...
