Suit: Tennessee school failed to protect girls from groping

DOVER, Tenn. (AP) — The mothers of two girls have filed a lawsuit against a Tennessee school district that they say failed to protect their daughters from repeated groping and harassment by a male student.

The Tennessean reports the mothers filed the federal suit against the Stewart County School System. The girls were identified as Christy Doe and Amanda Doe. The male student was identified as David Doe.

Amanda claims David repeatedly touched her while attending Stewart County Middle School. David was later arrested and was enrolled when Amanda got to high school in the 2017-2018 school...
