ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's basketball team let a double digit halftime lead slip away and dropped a 63-59 decision at the hands of Southern Arkansas on Thursday night inside Percefull Fieldhouse.

The Lady Rangers (6-5, 2-3 GAC) went on a 22-5 run throughout the final minutes of the first quarter and into the opening minutes of the second quarter to build a 33-15 point advantage at the halftime break. Northwestern held Southern Arkansas (2-9, 1-4 GAC) to 5-of-35 made shots from the field throughout the opening half.
