Second half struggles topple No. 10 Ladybugs at Wheat Capital Tournament

Tatum Rouse-Murphy (3) faces off against a Chisholm player in first round action of the Wheat Capital Tournament Thursday. Rouse-Murphy scored three treys for nine points. Chisholm won by a one-point margin 47-46.

ENID, Okla. – In one of the wildest endings Wheat Capital Tournament fans have seen in recent memories, the No. 10 Alva Ladybugs fell to the host school Chisholm at the buzzer, 47-46.

The Ladybugs drop to 6-2 on the season and move into the loser's bracket of the tournament. They will take on Pond-Creek Hunter who was dominated by Woodward on Thursday evening, 79-24.
