Cold Shooting Storm Fall to HSU

DURANT, Okla. – An ice-cold shooting night spelled trouble for Southeastern as they dropped a home conference matchup versus Henderson State 56-49 on Saturday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 7-5 overall on the year and 5-2 in Great American Conference play.

Sa'Liesha Hunter led SE in scoring with 13 points, while Ariannah Kemp turned in 10 to reach double-digits and Emem David finished with eight.

The Storm shot 25.9 percent from the floor in the first half and never recovered, going 0-for-5 from three point range in the second half.
