Reddies Go Cold Late, Fall in Nail-Biter to Southeastern 60-58

DURANT, Okla. — Henderson State had the ball and a chance to win the game with nine seconds to play on Saturday afternoon, but a good look from DJ Franklinwould not fall and Kaylon Tappin's last second half-court heave drew nothing but backboard, as the Reddies fell 60-58 to Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The Reddies led for more than 27 minutes in the game, including the majority of the second half, but did not hit a shot from the field in the game's final 4:27 and it ultimately cost them, as the Savage Storm closed the game on a 9-4 run to overcome Henderson's slim 54-51 lead.
