RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – With less than a month before first pitch of the 2018 NCAA Division II Softball season, the Great American Conference released its Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday afternoon and claiming the top spot for the second-straight year are the Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders, led by fourth-year head coach Jason Anderson.

SAU received 112 total points and six first-place votes, while Harding (104), the league's regular season and tournament champion last spring, and Arkansas Tech (102) each garnered three first-place votes.
