Hillcats Go Cold in 70-38 Loss to No. 5 LCU

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State women's basketball team shot only 22 percent falling short in a 70-38 loss to No. 5 Lubbock Christian on Wednesday (Jan. 10) at the Claremore Expo Center. The Hillcats dropped to 4-10 overall and 0-3 in the Heartland Conference, while the Lady Chaps moved to 15-1 and 4-0.

The Hillcats started the game hot, hitting their first two baskets for early advantage. Lindsey Byfield knocked down a jumper in the opening seconds, and Desiree Nelson connected on a 3-pointer for a 5-2 RSU lead in the first two minutes of the game. Two free throws by Nikola Nedorosci...
