Tappin, Jones Lead Reddies Past Arkansas Tech 106-96

Henderson State had all five starters score in double-figures as the Reddies ended a five-game Great American Conference losing streak in beating Arkansas Tech 106-96, Thursday at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia.

Kaylon Tappin led the Reddies with 25 points while pulling down 6 rebounds, while Josh Jones added 20 points along 7 boards.

Chris Parker scored 16 including going 10-of-12 from the foul line. Parker also added a team-high seven assists.

Brad Nairn posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while DJ Franklin scored 13.
