School board recognized for service

Burlington pre-K students present a small program about what they have been learning to the Board of Education with Principal Lane Pruett and pre-K teacher Apryl Burleson.
January is designated as School Board Recognition Month. Burlington Schools recognized current school board members during their school board meeting on the morning of Jan. 17.
Superintendent Glen Elliott presented each of the board members with certificates honoring their years of service. Board President Terry Graham was honored for 22 years of service, followed by Allison Armbruster with 10 years, Aaron Smith with six years, T J. Rockenbach with three years and Robert Hill with two years.
