Could your household add three or more children at once? Not many can. That’s why foster children in sibling sets of three or more have only a 65 percent chance of staying together in foster care.

Siblings from abuse and neglect situations often have a unique and deep bond with each other. For older children who act as a parent to their younger siblings, separating them is like separating a parent from their child, a deeply traumatic experience.
