Strong start leads Lady Rangers over East Central

Lady Ranger Jade Jones (22), junior from Pond Creek, picked up a charging call on this play as she drives toward the basket. Jones led the team with 11 assists and scored 11 points. The East Central player falling backwards is Madison Rehl (3) of Edmond.

ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's basketball team matched their season win total from a season ago with a 75-62 victory over East Central on Saturday afternoon inside Percefull Fieldhouse.

The win concludes the first half of the Great American Conference schedule for head coach Tasha Diesselhorst's team, as they will now play each team in the conference one more time before season's end. The Lady Rangers sit in a tie for sixth place with two other teams at 5-6 in conference play and will be in prime position to make a run at a top-four seed throughout the second half of the...
