Parker's Big Second Half Leads Reddies to 65-63 win over NWOSU

Chris Parker's 18-foot jumper with 5 seconds remaining lifted Henderson State to a 65-63 win over Northwestern Oklahoma, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The win extended Henderson's Great American Conference winning streak to three games as the Reddies improved to 11-8 overall and 6-7 in league play.

After trailing 30-27 at the break, Henderson began the second-half with 3-point field goals by Josh Jones and DJ Franklin to take a 37-34 advantage at the 17:20 mark.

The Reddies would lead by as many as 11 points but Northwestern Oklahoma fought back and tied the game at 61...
