Second-Half Spurt Keys Harding Victory over Southeastern Oklahoma

SEARCY – Harding had one of its best defensive halves of the season and used an early run after the break to defeat Southeastern Oklahoma 73-67 on Saturday at Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

Harding (2-16, 2-11) held Southeastern without a field goal for more than seven minutes in the second half and went on a 14-0 run to pull away after the game was tied 31-31 at halftime. The Savage Storm missed 10 straight shots during the run, and Harding led 51-36 with 10:36 left.

Southeastern (9-9, 8-5), playing its fourth consecutive road game, got no closer than six the rest of the game.
