Tigers win overtime thriller against Southwestern Oklahoma

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Ouachita Baptist University outscored Southwestern Oklahoma State 19-9 in overtime to pick-up the 97-87 victory on Saturday evening.

"It was a hard fought game," Ouachita Baptist head men's basketball coach Dennis Nutt said. "We didn't do a good job of guarding Beauregard tonight. We had some leads that I thought we could extend on, but he always brought them back."

The game was tied at 78-78 with 31 seconds remaining in the second half. Ouachita (11-8, 7-6 GAC) broke the huddle with a chance to win the game. The Tigers methodically worked down both the shot and game clocks...
