The 1968 game between Ivy League universities Harvard and Yale has earned a prominent place in United States sports history.

Although both squads entered the contest with perfect 8-0 records, almost everyone believed that Yale had the better team. Yale quickly proved how good it was by going up 22-0 early in the game.

But Harvard had a good team, too, and late in the fourth quarter it had closed the gap a little. But the Yale team still led 29-13 when it fumbled the ball and Harvard recovered deep in its own territory – at the 14-yard line. There were three minutes and 34 seconds left in the g...
