SHAWNEE, Okla. — Henderson State put five players in double figures on Thursday evening and held off Oklahoma Baptist's second half rally to get past the Lady Bison 77-71 and notch its 10th Great American Conference win of the season.
The Reddies (14-6, 10-4) were all over OKBU at the start and used two baskets apiece from Blu Jones and Hailey Estes to jump out to a 12-0 advantage in the game's opening moments. The Lady Bison (11-9, 6-8) trimmed the lead down to 20-13 by the end of the first quarter, but Henderson kept the pressure on and out-scored OKBU 19-13 in the second to build a 39-26 ad...
