Five 4th grade classes – Banner, Crescent, Drummond, Chisholm and Alva – competed in a Buzzer Competition (Oklahoma Association of Academic Competitions) on Jan. 31 at the Northwest Technology Center in Alva. Four quarters with eight questions each were played.
Drummond took first place; Banner second place; and Crescent, Chisholm and Alva tied for third place. Lunch and water for the students were provided by Alva's Market.
