DURANT, OKLA. – The East Central University softball team started the 2018 season by going 2-0 in day one at the Southeastern Regional Invitational. The Tigers earned a 4-2 win in the opening game of the season against Missouri Southern and then defeated Cameron 6-5.

The Tigers (2-0) saw three players hit .500 or better for the day, with junior Ellanee Allison and sophomore Catherine Barrera both hitting .667. Allison tallied four hits, two runs and an RBI, while Barrera added four hits, three runs and an RBI.
