Lady Bison Belt 14 Hits in Win

DURANT – Oklahoma Baptist claimed its first win of the season with a 4-2 decision over Pittsburg State, blasting out 14 hits in the game at the Southeastern Regional Invitational Friday.

The Gorillas struck first with a run in the bottom of the second, but OBU answered with two runs in the third inning. With one out, Aspen Grimes singled and scored on a double by Dani Manning. Manning took third on the throw and scored on a base hit by Cheyenne Demaree.

Katie Reyes singled with one out in the fourth, moved to second on a ground out by Cricket Grabin and scored on a single by Shelby Savage.
