CLAREMORE, Okla. – Senior Tim Luce opened the 2018 season with a no-hitter in a seven inning complete game at the Diamond Sports Complex on Friday (Feb. 2). The Hillcats won that game by a 12-0 score and took the nine-inning nightcap by a 10-2 margin.

Luce, a senior from Claremore, went the full 7.0 innings with a career-high 10 strikeouts to earn the shutout win. He only allowed three base runners all game as the Saints reached on a walk, hit by pitch and a passed ball. The no-hitter is the first in the history of the RSU baseball program.
