ALVA, Okla. – For the second time in as many games, the Alva Ladybug defense allowed 66 points as the No. 2 Frontier Lady Mustangs run away with a 66-34 victory on Friday night at Alva High School.

The loss drops the Ladybugs to 12-8 on the season. On Monday, the Ladybugs have an opportunity to get back on track against Pond Creek-Hunter at home, a team they beat 37-31 back on Jan. 5 in the Wheat Capital Tournament.

Alva will follow the Pond Creek-Hunter game with a tough road matchup at No. 6 Fairview on Tuesday, before wrapping up the regular season at 5A No. 5 Woodward on Feb. 13. The...
