Seward County Defeats Harding Men's Tennis in Season Opener

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Harding men's tennis lost its season opener 8-1 to Seward County Community College in a match played indoors Friday at Ouachita Baptist's Heflin Tennis Center.

Seward County, the No. 3-ranked junior college team in the nation, opened the match by winning all three doubles contests. The closest match was at No. 2 where Harding's Carlos Crisostomo and Luis Tirado fell 8-5 to Duro Opacic and Tim Lamare. Crisostomo and Tirado reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Central Region Tournament in the fall and are 8-3 despite the loss.
