Bulldogs Shutout Riverhawks

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Behind seven scoreless innings on the mound from Cooper Cantwell and some early offensive scoring, SWOSU moved back to an even record to start the season following a 6-0 shutout of Northeastern State on Wednesday.

Cantwell (W, 1-0) scattered five hits while striking out six and walking only one. He found himself in nearly no real trouble in his outing, facing only two situations with runners in scoring position and worked out of both situations unscathed.

Jose Laboy (0.2 IP) and Brendan Peitsmeyer (1.1 IP) came on in relief for Cantwell and combined to throw the final two...
