GRANDVIEW, Texas - The unsung hero of most defenses is the interior lineman whose job it is to draw double teams and allow teammates to make plays and rack up stats. And Grandview's Byron Buckley did that job so well it landed him a chance to continue his football career with Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Buckley signed with the Rangers on Wednesday, a dream he's long envisioned would come true.
"It's something I've longed for and I'm more than thankful for the opportunity," Buckley said. "Signing on National Signing Day is a true blessing. God blessed me and put me in this position....
