Jones and Halvorson awarded January Athlete of the Month honors

ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State athletic department has announced Jade Jones of women's basketball and Cody Halvorson of men's basketball as it's Blue Sky Media January Athlete of the Month recipients.
Both players led their respective teams in scoring throughout the month and currently sit near the top of multiple statistical categories in the Great American Conference. Jones and Halvorson both served as vital leaders on the court during the month of January in which both teams competed in nine games over the course of the month.
