ALVA, Okla. – The area basketball coaches met with local athletic supporters at noon on Tuesday as Alva High School girls coach Dusty Horn, and Northwestern Oklahoma State basketball coaches Tasha Diesselhorst and Shawn Dirden addressed the Quarterback Club.

“Unfortunately for us, we got them on a good night with 17 threes against us.”

There wasn’t much coach Horn could say as he recapped the Ladybugs 66-26 loss against Woodward at home on Jan. 30.

“It was rough night for us, but they score the basketball extremely well. It was just one of those nights.”
