Reddies Baseball Wins Home Opener Over Nebraska-Kearney 3-0

Henderson State got a strong pitching performance from Kris Priddy as the Reddies won their home opener in beating Nebraska-Kearney 3-0, Thursday at Clyde Berry Field.

Priddy pitched six innings, striking out five batters and allowed just three hits in picking up the win.

The Reddies, 2-2 on the year, put together three hits in the second-inning to take an early 1-0 lead.

With two outs in the inning, Taylor Langston and Nolan Ryan blasted singles up the middle to set the stage for Brentten Schwaab who laced a single to left field to score Ryan from second base.
