The Storm got on the board in the opening inning as Riley Brown drove in Jacey James with her double to the left field wall. After holding on to a 1-0 lead in the next four innings, Washburn's bats came alive in the fifth. The Ichabods scored five runs to take a 5-1 lead heading into the final two innings.
