7:36 a.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Second Street and Kansas.

9:09 a.m. Alarm company called about a burglary alarm at Smok-Shak. Advised officer and contacted the keyholder. Alarm was canceled.

1:22 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at SH-11 and County Road 680.

3:49 p.m. Report of a dog at Fifth and Ohio that had no shelter or food. Advised animal control.

4:33 p.m. Civil papers served.

4:46 p.m. Caller advised of a grass fire on County Road 640. Paged Cherokee Fire Department. CFD en route.

6:16 p.m. Caller advised a male driving a white Mustang had come into the Jet Jiffy Trip and tried to scam the clerk out of money. Caller advised he had also tried this at the Nash Jiffy Trip and the grocery store in Nash. Caller advised they have him on video. Advised deputy. Deputy needed the reporting party to come in and make a report.

6:27 p.m. Helena officer advised of cattle out south of Helena.

7:49 p.m. Caller stated someone was at the Jet Co-op at the tire gauges and she saw flames coming up. Advised deputy. Caller advised the person had left and everything was okay. Advised deputy.

2:05 p.m. Caller advised an elderly man had fallen down the stairs and was possibly hurt. Medic en route. Medic with patient en route to Share Medical Center in Alva.

4:52 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at 10th Street and Nebraska.

6:58 p.m. Caller advised of cattle out on crystal dig road.

7:37 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop.

8:18 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Euclid and Fifth Street.

8:27 p.m. Caller advised there was a suspicious vehicle out in the parking lot and would like an officer to escort people to their cars. Advised officer. Caller called back and advised the car was gone.

10:16 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at SH-11 and County Road 630.

8:14 a.m. Civil papers served.

12:05 p.m. Civil papers served.

1:08 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at SH-11 and County Road 700.

1:47 p.m. Cattle out on US-64.

5:14 p.m. Civil paper served.

5:22 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at County Road 550 and Greer Road.

5:42 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at County Road 580 and Greer Road.

5:53 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at County Road 580 and Greer Road.

5:57 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at County Road 600 and Greer Road.

6:43 p.m. Cattle out SH-58.

8:03 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on SH-11.

8:39 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on SH-11.

11:39 p.m. Caller requested an officer to drive through the Cherokee Inn. They had a possible problem with an individual trying to get into one of the room. Officer advised. A black vehicle was reported outside. A third party advised the vehicle had left. Caller advised the individual had came back and was now trying to get into her room through the air conditioner. Officer requested back up. Deputy en route. No report was made.

12:22 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Main.

12:59 p.m. Caller advised he thought there might be smoke or something either north of Nescutunga or at Cottonwood Point. Called Nescutunga fire chief. NFC advised it wasn't near there. NFC advised no fire.

1:14 p.m. Residential burglar alarm was going off on SH8. Made contact with the keyholder and there was no one home. Deputy en route. Deputy advised everything was secure.

3:27 p.m. Caller advised a red Silverado was all over the road and caller believes they may have been texting. Deputy en route. Deputy out with the truck and advised there was no message on their phone.

4:50 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Third Street and Massachusetts.

5:31 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop south of Cotton Creek.

7:41 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Eighth Street and Grand.

9:30 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop north of Cherokee on SH-11.

9:36 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at the Jiffy Trip parking lot.

9:47 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on County Road 640 and SH-11.

9:56 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on County Road 650 and SH-11.

10:06 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Fourth Street and Grand.

8:45 a.m. Caller advised of cattle out on SH-58.

5:11 p.m. Caller advised of a dog that was killing her rabbits. Caller stated she had called animal control and they won't do anything about it, but give her a trap. Advised Helena officer.

7:35 p.m. Caller advised someone had stole her seam ripper and broke her sewing machine. Caller also advised her phone charger was missing. Dispatch called Cherokee Manor.

10:08 a.m. Caller advised of an altercation with another person; would like an officer.

10:33 a.m. Caller needed a welfare check. Advised Helena officer.

12:50 p.m. Caller wanted to talk to an officer. A dog had killed all but six of her 25 rabbits and animal control won't do anything. Advised deputy. Deputy en route.

2:14 p.m. Caller advised of two blue heelers on the north end of town that chase her cat and one will run into her car. She is advised that the dogs are aggressive and will bite someone. Will advise animal control in the morning.

2:36 p.m. Caller advised of a black Ford pickup all over the road and headed south on SH-58. Another caller advised of a black Ford all over the road almost to Carmen. Advised they were afraid to pass them. Advised OHP.

5:03 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Grand.

5:37 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Grand.

6:53 p.m. Cattle out on US-64.

7:53 p.m. Caller advised they had hit a calf on US-58. Advised the calf was off the road. Contacted the owner.

Monday, February 12, 2018

5:34 p.m. Caller had stalled out at the four-way stop north of Cherokee and wanted to talk to an officer about filling out a report about some gas he had purchased and believed it was the cause of his vehicle stalling out. Caller attempted to contact family to pick them up. Caller advised his girlfriend had asked for a receipt from the store and they wouldn't give her one.

7:47 a.m. Caller needed an ambulance at the Cherokee Manor for a female who had a possible stroke. Medic en route. Medic with the patient en route to Bass Hospital.

9:30 a.m. Called wanted a welfare check on their father. Advised there had been no contact since Friday afternoon. Advised deputy.
