Deferred sentence given on contraband charge

Authorities say they found marijuana during a pat search of a prison visitor. Tina Uvette Williams, 45, of Tulsa was charged with bringing contraband (drugs) into a penal institution, a felony, on Feb. 5 in Alfalfa County.

According to court records, Williams was a visitor at James Crabtree Correctional Center at Helena on Feb. 4. During a pat search of visitors, Sgt. Jackie Ekman conducted a search of Williams.
