RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - On the heels of a stellar performance at the UAM Division II Challenge, sophomore outfielder Ashton Sangster has been honored as the Great American Conference's Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Sangster helped the Golden Suns post a 3-1 record this past week by hitting .667. She produced three multi-hit games, including a three-hit performance against Northwest Missouri State. The Van Buren native was a perfect 3-for-3 stealing bases and scored six runs, three against Central Missouri. She produced a .714 on-base percentage.
