Brake Throws No-Hitter; Cats Hit Late Home Runs to Sweep FHSU and OBU

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Alex Brake threw a five inning no-hitter in a 10-0 win over Fort Hays State and the Hillcats hit three late home runs against Oklahoma Baptist to win, 5-3, and take two games on Thursday (Feb. 15) at the Diamond Sports Complex.

Brake, a senior from Joplin, Mo., only faced 17 batters and totaled three strikeouts, 11 fly outs and one groundout to get the five-inning shutout. She only allowed one walk and had another baserunner reach on an error.
