MONTICELLO, Ark. – Mahlon Martin (Little Rock, Ark.) grabbed a pass from a fellow teammate and knockdown a contested three-point shot to give Ouachita a 72-70 victory over Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday evening.

Ouachita (11-13, 9-10 GAC) swept the season series against Arkansas-Monticello (15-10, 10-9 GAC) for the first time since the 2015-2016 season.

The game was neck-and-neck the whole way as each team countered the other teams run. The Tigers edged out Monticello statistically by shooting 52.9 percent from the floor and limited their opponent to just 47 percent shooting.
