Young Lady Eagles season ends at regionals

Summer Ralston (22) out-jumps Hardesty player Brianna Estrada (40) to start the hard-fought battle in the first round of the regional playoffs on Thursday, Feb 15.
It was a battle last Thursday afternoon, but the Freedom girls basketball team feel show in the regional opener as they lost to Hardesty, 69-63.
The Lady Eagles led the game 31-28 after the first half, but Hardesty won the third quarter by a difference of 25-13. The hole that was dug during the third was too much to overcome for the Lady Eagles in the fourth, despite outscoring Hardesty 19-16 in the final period.
Sophomore standout Summer Ralston had an outstanding game with 23 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter comeback push. Katlynn Galemore contributed with 16 points, as well as...
