Southwestern Trims Lady Bison

 


BARTLESVILLE – Oklahoma Baptist, six days removed from being blown out by Southwestern, pushed the No. 15 Bulldogs to the fourth quarter before falling, 80-72 in the first round of the Great American Conference Tournament Thursday.

OBU had a 16-point lead in the fourth quarter before Southwestern stormed back.

"We stopped doing what we did to take the lead and stopped taking the shots we needed to take," said OBU Coach Casi Bays. "We just didn't do the things we needed to do."
