Teachers, staff for next year on school board agenda

The Alva Board of Education will vote on employment of two certified teachers on one-year temporary contracts for fiscal year 2019 in the regular meeting Monday. The board will meet at 5 p.m. at the administrative office, 418 Flynn St.
An executive session is planned to discuss employee staffing for the next school year with no action planned on the matter after returning to open session. There will be a vote on renewing employment of a list of certified teachers for the next school year. The board will also vote on revised extra duty assignments for the current school year.
