Northwestern softball downed by Savage Storm in home opener

ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State softball team hosted their first home series against the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm on Friday afternoon, and although they hit the ball well, they were downed in both games, 6-2 and 6-5.
Game 1
Madison Garza started off the game in the circle for the Rangers and gave up five runs and unfortunately came away with the loss. Peyton Garrett was the lone Ranger to collect two hits, going 2-for-3.
