Cherokee School Board adds 2 new mmbers

Two new board members took the oath of office Monday night at the Cherokee School Board meeting. They are Desiree Gibson and Shane Parker. After that formality, the agenda called for the election of officers. It was left unchanged with Kory Littlefield as president, T. J. Allison as vice president and Amber Wilhite as the clerk.

Another agenda item on the topic of board officers was left with "no action." The agenda item suggested naming an acting president or clerk in the event the actual officer was not present.
