Southeastern Takes Down CSU-P, 5-1

 


LAWTON, Okla. – Southeastern got back on track by cruising to a 5-1 victory over Colorado State-Pueblo in Lawton, Okla.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 2-1 on the season heading into a March 7 matchup with Seward County CC in Liberal, Kan.

After dropping a tiebreaker in the one doubles position, the duo of Milos Vuckovic and Sandro Lena would respond by picking up an 8-3 win at two doubles to even the score at 1-1.

Danrich Kruger and Jeremy Despont would then put SE in front 2-1 with an 8-3 victory of their own at three doubles.

Carlos Anez would stretch the lead to 3-1 by tacking on a 6-4, 6-1 victory at the one singles spot.

Ondrej Nice followed suit at the two position with a 6-3, 6-4 win to lift the score to 4-1.

Lena would close out the 5-1 victory by picking up a 6-3, 6-1 win at the three singles position.
