This last week was the final week for bills to be heard in committee. Any bill not passed out of committee by that point is dead for this legislative session. State representatives have considered more than 300 bills in committee meetings during this session, and we’ll spend the next few weeks hearing those pieces of legislation that passed out of committee on the House floor.
