Late in His ministry, within days of traveling to Jerusalem for the last time, Jesus took a turn through Jericho. Mind you, the city of Jericho should not have been there in the first place. The Lord put a curse on anyone who would rebuild the ancient city after He used the people of Israel to destroy it on their way into the promised land. But rebuild they did and it regrew into a city graced – on more than one occasion – by the answer to all earth’s curses.
