Rangers snap seven-game skid against Aggies

 


ALVA, Okla. – Entering Tuesday’s midweek doubleheader against Panhandle State, the Northwestern Oklahoma State University baseball team had lost six straight ball games. The streak was extended to seven following a 4-2 loss in the opener against the Aggies, but ended in a 3-1 win in the night cap.

During the stretch, the pitching staff has struggled to keep opponents from crossing the plate. In the seven losses, Ranger pitching had allowed 9.7 runs a game, while the offense still provided more than seven runs a game.
