Run-rule win gives Lady Eagles split at Texas Woman's

 


DENTON, Texas (March 7, 2018) – Oklahoma Christian's bats were rolling on Wednesday at Texas Woman's, piling up 20 runs and 28 hits in 12 innings. But that proved enough for only a doubleheader split at Pioneer Field.

OC routed Texas Woman's 15-4 in five innings in the opener, but the Pioneers rode a big fourth inning to beat the Lady Eagles 7-5 in the second game to salvage a split.

OC (13-12) has had considerable success against Texas Woman's (11-7) the past two seasons. Last year, the Lady Eagles won three of five meetings against the Pioneers, including two run-rule wins, but it was Texas...
