Hillcats Drop 2 at UAFS to End 4-Game Series

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Rogers State baseball dropped the final two games of a four-game nonconference series at UA Fort Smith on Friday (March 9) at Crowder Field. The Lions (10-5) used a walk-off home run in game one to win 3-0 and scored six early runs en route to the 13-7 victory in game two.

The Lions (10-5) took the four-game series after splitting yesterday's doubleheader with the Hillcats (11-6).

With two on and two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, Jace Pitchford of UAFS hit a three-run home run to right field to give the Lions the walk-off 3-0 victory in game one.
