Henderson State posted a team score of 324 and is tied for 9th-place after the opening round of the Midwestern State Women's Golf Invitational in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The Reddies are tied with Texas A&M-Commerce in the 19 team field, with Arkansas Tech leading the 36-hole tournament after a score of 311.
Players struggled with the par 72, 5,843-yard Wichita Falls Country Club Course with the average score among the 97 players being 85.87.
Allison Davis led Henderson on day one carding a score of 76. Davis is tied for 9th after finishing even-par in par 3 scoring while compiling 12 pars....
