DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern took a hard-fought 2-1 lead after doubles play and carried that momentum into a 5-4 home-opening victory over St. Edward's on Saturday afternoon at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
The win gets the Savage Storm back on track after a 5-1 loss to Seward Country and moves them to 3-2 overall on the season.
The pair of Carlos Anez and Ondrej Nice picked up an 8-4 win at the one doubles spot to open up a 1-0 lead.
The Hilltoppers would even the match with a win at two doubles, however, the duo of Jeremy Despont and Danrich Kruger would respond with an 8-5 win...
